THE Highland Hospice shop in Nairn has reopened in new premises.

Shop manager Morven Livingstone and volunteers welcomed customers to the charity’s branch in Leopold Street.

She said: “Our regular customers and volunteers are very excited to have a bigger Highland Hospice Shop opening in Nairn.

“With three lovely big windows to showcase the amazing donations we receive, we hope it will be very difficult to pass us by.

“We are incredibly lucky to have such supportive businesses on Leopold Street, everyone helps each other out whenever they can which creates a lovely community feel.

“Without the help of our amazing volunteers, warehouse staff and customers who have helped pull the shop together this wouldn’t have been as much fun.”

Regular customer Mary Mackenzie from Nairn cut a ribbon to open the shop.

Morven said: “She comes to the shop every week and we love helping her to find outfits, particularly one for a reunion she was attending where she was overwhelmed by how great her outfit looked. Mary’s just a sweetheart and we couldn’t think of anyone more fitting to officially open our store.”
