Nairn County have announced that they will be making efforts to help their local community through the coronavirus pandemic.

No football matches or training will take place for the foreseeable future, although the club have said that players and staff's wages will continue to be paid in full as they have budgeted over the years for a worst-case scenario.

But they will be reaching further afield into Nairn itself, dedicating their social media channels to promoting their local business sponsors who may be hit with cashflow shortages if trade begins to dry up.

Nairn will also be looking to pay businesses they work with ahead of time, believing that cash will be needed more in the short term.

In lieu of matchdays, they are also offering to help the local community with errands on Saturdays to aid them in efforts to self-isolate.
