A Nairn choir raised £400 for a local charity helping people to manage the difficulties of living with lifelong chronic conditions.
The vital funds were raised by the Accidentals Choir during their Big Sing event in August and will help wupport MySelf-Management, a charity promoting self-management of health and wellbeing for those living with long-term conditions including Long Covid in local communities in Highland.
The Accidentals' secretary, Cath Stevenson said the Big Sing at the Wallace Bandstand was a great experience.
"We performed on a rather breezy Saturday afternoon," she said.
"It was the first time we'd done this but it was a superb experience supported by a lovely Nairn crowd for the two hours singing we did accompanied by the Nairn north wind."
Joanne McCoy, manager of MySelf-Management said they were really thankful for the support.
"The Donation from the Accidentals' Big Sing is fantastic news," she said.
"We are reliant on funding and donations to run our service and donations like this allow us to continue to support our members.
"Myself-Management staff and our Nairn members really enjoyed the event at the Bandstand and appreciate the choir singing for us on a blustery day. "
She added that the money will help cover room hire and activities for the group for the next six months.
The charity runs monthly Living Better Groups across Highland, with the Nairn group meeting at the community centre on the first Wednesday of the month
