A fond farwell has been bid to a member of the Nairn BID board, who is stepping down after four years.

Paul Geddes, who owns The Bandstand hotel and restaurant in Nairn, said he would remain an active member and supporter of BID and would continue to “actively contribute”.

He added: “I’ve really enjoyed being a part of the BID team, helping shape the direction and supporting the fantastic projects and events BID has achieved.

“I would encourage any business owners in Nairn to get involved and help shape the focus of the next BID term.

“It’s very satisfying being involved and seeing new initiatives take shape.

“Being a board member is a serious commitment, but a very rewarding one personally and in the interests of Nairn businesses and the community.

“Good luck for the next term!”

Nairn BID thanked Mr Geddes for his commitment and wished him well.
