Munlochy Animal Aid is getting set to mark an important milestone with a special dog parade.

Incredibly the renowned local animal rehoming charity has now been on the go for 45 years, helping animals across the north of Scotland

It is planning a dog parade around North Kessock next Saturday (July 22) from 10.30am, starting at the village hall.

There will also be a range of stalls including jumble, Funky Faces Facepainting, home baking, books, crafts and plants.

Refreshments will also be available.

Tea, coffee and goodies are also on the menu.

Shelter operator Iona Nicol said: "Raising funds for Munlochy never stops, but neither does the demand for our help.

"We have never been so busy and it doesn't look like it is going to improve any time soon.

"We really hope we have a great day and lots of folk come along to join us."
