Multiple vehicles damaged in Inverness city centre, sparking police appeal

Police have appealed for witnesses and information after "a number of vehicles" were damaged in an Inverness city centre street in the early hours.

Officers said enquiries are "ongoing" to establish the cause of the damage, which occurred to a number of vehicles on Riverside Street on Monday.

Police were first alerted to the damage at 5.15am.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.15am on Monday, officers received a report of damage to a number of vehicles on Riverside Street, Inverness.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting 'incident 0399 of February 12', or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
