A special fashion show in the Highland capital will honour the memory of a much-loved Highland woman who continues to inspire the event.

The event at Leonardo Hotel - formerly Jurys Inn - in Inverness will be held on Friday, April 21 and is organised by the Black Isle branch of Cancer Research UK.

Annabel Sutherland, who was from Muir of Ord and known to many as a baker in Deas in Dingwall, was a model for the show since it started before she sadly passed away.

The popular event involves a number of women who have experienced or continue to live with cancer and has raised tens of thousands of pounds for the charity which funds research into the disease.

Tickets can be bought at the fruit shop in Caffreys in Inverness, Dingwall Fruit shop and The Hub in Muir of Ord.

The evening event is a great celebration with Susan Beauty Salon and hairdressers from

Inverness College UHI helping add to the glitz and glamour.

Those taking part typically speak of having had a great time afterwards.

A number of new models will take part this time around. Another stalwart who has been involved since the first event is Linda Campbell of Dingwall.

Clothes from Brambles and Ink and Pink of Nairn will be modelled on the evening.
