A 19-year-old motorcyclist was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness following a crash.

The incident, which involved no other vehicles, happened yesterday about 5.30pm on the B9006 at Sunnyside by Culloden Moor.

Police officers were called to the scene.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "The 19-year-old male rider of a motorcycle was taken by ambulance to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for treatment.

"Inquiries are continuing."
