Born To Lose MCC members pushed a Harley Davidson 883 sportster bike to Dores in aid of Mikeysline.

Starting from the Shakes ‘n’ Cakes shop in Culduthel Mains Avenue and finishing at the Dores Inn the effort covered just over six-and-a-half miles.

The bike weighed 256kg and their efforts raised more than £1200.

The club has just celebrated its third anniversary and wanted to do something special to mark the occasion.

Mikeysline was chosen to benefit as it is helping a growing number of people who are struggling and club members wanted to do something to help.

MCC president James MacLeod said: “Saturday was a great success. We were really lucky with the weather but it was still a real challenge at parts.

“All the guys worked together to get the job done and so far we have managed to raise a nice little sum for Mikeysline.

“We met quite a few people on the road who seemed quite interested in what we were doing so it was a good opportunity to explain to them about the great work Mikeysline does.”
