Police step up patrols at Inverness playing fields in response to anti-social behaviour from motorbikers

ANTI-SOCIAL behaviour from motorbikers on playing fields in Inverness have sparked increased police patrols.

Officers have stepped up their patrols of the playing fields behind St Valery Avenue in Dalneigh following a spate of complaints.

A police spokesman said: "This follows recent complaints of motorbikes in the area to the annoyance of nearby householders and presenting safety issues for park users and to the general condition of the playing fields."

Anyone with information about the recent incidents, or any concerns in relation antisocial behaviour, can call police on 101 or via the Police Scotland website.

Anonymous reports can be made to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
