More Highland schools closed today ahead of national shutdown in response to coronavirus crisis

More Highland schools will be closed or partially closed for pupils today.

According to Hoghland Council's school closures list Millburn Academy remains closed to S1 to S3 pupils though it is open to senior pupils.

The same arrangements are in place for Alness Academy.

St Celement's School in Dingwall is closed.

Craighill and Knockbreck Primaries in Tain remain closed as they have been all week, as a precautionary measure.

Today's local closures follows yesterday's news that schools in Scotland south of the border are to be closed from tomorrow.
