Police Scotland say youth missing from Inverness has been found safe and well

A young man reported missing from Inverness has turned up safe and well.

Police Scotland had this morning issued an appeal for information on the whereabouts of 17-year-old Scott Shearer, last seen on Wednesday evening at the Co-op on the city's Telford Street.

A police spokesman thanked the public for help in tracing him.
