Missing teen Inverness sister and brother spark police appeal

Police have appealed for help finding a teenage sister and brother who disappeared from Inverness two days ago.

Silvena (16) and Mattias (15) Wild were last seen in Inverness city centre at around 1.30pm on Tuesday.

A police spokesperson said: "We have been making enquiries to trace brother and sister, Silvena (16) and Mattias (15) Wild, who are missing from the Inverness area. We are now seeking the assistance of the public to help trace them.

"Both Silvena and Mattias were last seen in the city centre of Inverness around 1.30pm on Tuesday, February 20. Their current whereabouts are unknown, however it is believed they are known to frequent the Inverness and Caithness area.

"We urge anyone who has any information in regards to the whereabouts of the teenagers to contact Police Scotland on 101 or alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting 'incident number 2616 of February 20'."
