UPDATE: Missing Inverness man found in Edinburgh

UPDATE (3.07pm): A MISSING Inverness man has been traced safe and well, police have confirmed.

Officers raised the alarm on Wednesday morning after Christopher Foy (37) disappeared in Inverness city centre.

He had not been seen since 1.30pm on Monday.

Launching their appeal this morning, police thought he might be in Edinburgh.

They have now confirmed that he did travel to the central belt and has since been found.

A police spokesman said: "We can confirm that Christopher Foy, who was reported missing from Inverness, has been traced safe and well in the Edinburgh area.

"Many thanks to the public and the media for their assisting with these enquiries."
