Missing girl, 16, sparks police appeal

Leah Petrie (16), was last seen on Wednesday and reported missing the following day.

She is 5ft 4in, of medium to large build with shoulder length blonde hair

When last seen Leah was wearing a black t-shirt and black leggings/jeans.

"It is possible that Leah has travelled to the Ross-shire or Sutherland area, specifically around Strathpeffer or Dornoch/Embo," said a police spokesman.

"Officers are keen to ensure that Leah is safe and well. Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident NN7929/18.

"If Leah herself is reading this we would ask that you get in touch as soon as you can."
