Missing Caithness man travelled to Inverness on Sunday, police say

Police in the Highlands are appealing for help tracing James Alexander Hunnisett, who has been reported missing from Caithness.

The 57-year-old, known as Jimmy, is known to have travelled by taxi from Wick, arriving at Longman Road in Inverness around 1pm on Sunday, July 24.

Further enquiries are ongoing to establish his movements after this point and officers are keen to ensure he is safe and well.

Jimmy is described as being white, around 6ft tall, of stocky build, with dark thin hair.

It isn’t known what he was wearing.

Anyone who believes they may have seen him or who has any other information is asked to call 101, quoting reference 1574 of July 24.
