Chelsie Allison scooped the title as Miss Scotland last month and was expected to compete at the Miss World championships in November, however the contest has been postponed until March 2024.
Miss World 2024 will be the 71st edition of the Miss World pageant, which has been rescheduled to be held at the International Convention and Expo Centre, in India, New Delhi on 2 March 2024.
After competing in the stiff competition for a second time, Chelsie managed to win the crown after intensively working towards her dream of bringing back the Miss Scotland title to Inverness.
Chelsie (26) was up against 10 other women from across the nation before she was crowned.
The Tesco Mobile retail manager – and now Miss Scotland – is set to go on to represent the nation at Miss World in March, spending five weeks in India as she goes up against 126 other girls from across the globe.
However, in the meantime Chelsie plans to continue her work alongside the Highland Hospice and aims to raise as much money for them as possible.
Whilst the date has been changed, it has been a blessing is disguise for Chelsie as she said this has given her the time she needs to campaign and continue the work she loves doing with the Highland Hospice.
