A mini music festival is returning to Beauly for a second year and will showcase eight Highland bands.

The two-day Beauly Buzz will take place at the Beauly Holiday Park on May 19 and 20.

The headline act, popular eight-piece soul band, Scooty and the Skyhooks, will bring the event to a close.

Event organiser Alan Hogan said: "This year, the event is going to be bigger, better and buzzier than before.

"We’re delighted with the variety of bands and ticket prices start at £36 per person offering great value for money."

Bands include Munlochy-based Black Isle Peas, Inverness rock/pop band, Rant, and Dashh who will perform quirky original songs and covers.

Dorec-a-belle will perform harmonising vocals mixed with saxophone, accordion, and guitar.

Singer songwriter Davy Cowan will play on the Saturday afternoon and local musician John Newlands will be followed by Caithness rapper The Vandal performing on Saturday night.
