A raffle held at the Highlands and Islands Tourism Awards has generated over £3000 for a local mental health charity.

Through the use of QR codes and cash, a whopping £3105 was raised at the event on November, Friday 4 at the Kingsmills Hotel.

Emily Stokes, chief executive of Mikeysline said: "This is a fantastic result for us. Thank you so much for all your help with this and to Craig [Ewan, Kingsmills Hotel] for proposing to the HITA Board that Mikeysline could be the beneficiary charity."

"Many thanks again and well done on what was clearly a hugely successful night."
