An Inverness mental health charity has received a three figure donation from Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation.

Yorkshire Building Society (YBS) has donated £768 to Change Mental Health, which supports people in the Highland area.

Change Mental Health, which was nominated by colleagues in the Inverness branch of YBS, plans to spend the money on musical instruments and art supplies which will contribute to sessions run by the cause.

Gordon Ross, manager of YBS Inverness, said: “Change Mental Health does crucial work across Scotland and in our local community in the Highlands, and the charity provides a real benefit to their lives.”

Beth Friend, fundraising manager of Change Mental Health, said: “We are really thankful for the donation from Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation that will help us continue to provide our services.”
