Nine finalists chosen to sing their way to stardom at Highland Hospice's Ness Factor
In aid of the Highland Hospice, the contestants will spend the next few months training ahead of the event on November 12 at the Drumossie Hotel in Inverness.
This year, the winner will take home a grand prize of a performance slot at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival 2023.
The contestants are Stephen Laurie, Lisa Gray, Jennifer Urquhart, Fiona Clark, Donna Fraser, Andrew Gill, Caitlin Farquhar, Moira Black and Gregor Matheson.
They will be coached in teams by Tony Henry, Katy-Louise Mackay and Fiona Forbes.
It is the fifth year of the competition and also the 35th year of the
hospice, making this show extra special.
There will be a commemorative address along with guest performances and an auction.
Hospice community fundraiser Emma Nicol said: “Every contestant works extremely hard with our amazing professional singing coaches, all in their own time to perfect their voice for the live final, we are excited to see them showcase their talents to a panel of judges and an audience of 350 guests.
“As well as singing, all contestants put their heart into all the fundraising to help support the continued delivery of vital care and support services across the Highlands.
“The winner is chosen from a combination of judges scoring, audience votes and individual fundraising totals. We are so grateful to organiser Lornagh Siegel, our corporate sponsors and everyone who contributes towards this event.”
Mrs Siegel said: “After the very difficult couple of years we all have had to go through I am delighted to be back organising Ness Factor, raising much-needed funds for our amazing Highland Hospice.”
