Map of UK's favourite beauty spots 'moves' Loch Ness... to the Lecht

A CLASSIC view of Loch Ness has been named among the UK’s most stunning vistas.

The view from Dores beach was sixth most popular in a survey of 2500 people carried out by Samsung to promote its newest smartphone.

But fans of the tech giant will be hoping its mapping apps are more accurate than the artwork it created to illustrate the locations.

For it appears to have moved the loch to The Lecht ski resort south-east of Tomintoul.

And it is not the only loch ‘on the move’ – for Loch Lomond appears to sit near Kilmarnock in the same image.
