Man taken to Raigmore Hospital after being cut free from vehicle following one-vehicle crash on A862 Inverness-Beauly road near Inchmore; Police Scotland diversions in force

THE A862 Beauly to Inverness road is closed near Inchmore following a one-vehicle road crash.

The incident happened five miles west of Inverness at around 1.30pm.

The vehicle ended up on its roof and the occupant, a man, had to be cut free. He has been taken to Raigmore Hospital by ambulance for treatment.

Police diversions are in force.

The fire service used hydraulic cutting gear, stabilisation gear, heavy rescue hydraulic cutting gear and a rescue board to open the vehicle.
