A man has been taken to hospital following a one-vehicle crash on the A96 east of Inverness

The incident happened this morning at Tornagrain and involved a VW.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman confirmed officers had received reports of a crash about 11.30am.

A man was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.

The road was partially blocked.
