Man reported missing in Inverness and who may have travelled to Glasgow has been found, Police Scotland confirm

A man reported missing from Inverness earlier this week has been traced, police have announced.

Police issued an appeal on Wednesday for help finding David Garven (52), who is also known as Edward James, He had last been seen in Inverness on Monday, April 29.

At the time, officers said they had reason to believe that he might have travelled to Glasgow since being reported missing.

However, in an update on Friday night, police confirmed he had now been successfully traced.

"We thank the public for your assistance," said a police spokesperson.
