Inverness man appears on attempted murder charge in court

An Inverness man has been remanded in custody after appearing on an attempted murder charge.

Kyle Drummond Allan (24) appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court in connection with multiple alleged offences.

As well as the attempted murder charge, which was said to have resulted from an assault to severe injury, he also faced a further assault to injury and an assault charge.

He also faced charges of obstructing police officers and threatening and abusive behaviour.

He made no plea and was remanded in custody.

He is set to appear in court again within the next eight days.
