A 59-YEAR-OLD Inverness man will be sentenced next month after admitting downloading seven still images and a 14-minute long video of children being sexually abused.

David Cook, of Towerhill Avenue, appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court before Sheriff Eilidh Macdonald who deferred sentence until January 18 for a background report. He was placed on the Sex Offenders’ Register.

Police seized two computers from his property and discovered that the images and video had been saved between April 2006 and December 2020.

His bail was continued.
