Man assaulted near Garden of Hope

POLICE want to speak to a female motorist who may have seen an assault in Kiltarlity.

A 35-year-old man was taken to Raigmore Hospital’s accident and emergency department after being attacked by another man at about 9pm last night near the Garden of Hope, adjacent to Balgate Drive.

The woman was driving past in a Volvo car and may have witnessed the incident.

Nothern Constabulary has asked her, and anyone else with information, to contact 0845 6005703.
