Drugs with an estimated street value of around £5300 have been recovered in Inverness yesterday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said that a 45-year-old man has been arrested in connection with drugs offences and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

They confirmed that officers stopped a Ford EcoSport on Bridge Street just before 7pm yesterday.

Following a search of the vehicle a quantity of cannabis was seized.
