Lots of fun in store for kids at Eastgate Centre in Inverness

There was lots of fun to be had at a toy testing workshop in Inverness.

The event was held in Eastgate Shopping Centre on Saturday.

The toys were all new for 2022 and the youngsters got the chance to try them out before writing their lists to Santa Claus.

Jackie Cuddy, the centre manager, said: “We had more than 50 junior toy testers on Saturday trying out toys from The Entertainer.

“The girl toy testers, ranging in age from three to 11 years old outnumbered the boy toy testers two to one.

“The youngest toy tester was just 20 months and was also a fan of the 360 stunt car which came out at the top of the list for Christmas 2022.

“There were 14 toys to test, ranging from the traditional operation game to the 360 stunt car which proved the most popular with both the girls and boys.

“Very close runners up for the most popular toys for Christmas 2022 were Kinetic Sand Sandcastle Set and Nick Jr Ready Steady Dough Supreme Ice Cream.”

There was also festive face painting and Mr and Mrs Bubbles were clowning around.
