Loganair flights to and from Inverness have been cancelled due to a “technical issue” this evening, with delays also planned for flights tomorrow morning.

The flight operator has confirmed that both the LM162 flight from Belfast to Inverness, and the LM598 from Manchester to Inverness have been cancelled.

The LM597 Inverness to Manchester, originally scheduled to depart Inverness at 5.45pm, has also been cancelled.

A Loganair spokesperson said: "This afternoon’s services connecting Inverness with Belfast and Manchester have been disrupted by a technical issue.

"Customers have been offered alternative travel arrangements to get them to their destinations as quickly as possible. Safety is our number one priority, and we thank all those affected for their patience and understanding."

Tomorrow morning’s LM591 flight from Inverness to Manchester now has a delayed departure time of 7.40am as opposed to its originally scheduled time of 6.30am.

The LM592 Manchester to Inverness flight is also now scheduled to arrive an hour later than planned, at 11.05am instead of 10am.
