December return for Callum Beattie as he joins festive line-up for Live In The City in Inverness

Callum Beattie fans don’t have long to wait for his return with a date just announced for Sunday, December 10 at Inverness Leisure.
The singer songwriter is becoming a regular visitor to the Highland capital, headlining his own show at Inverness Ice Centre on June 3 – and returning here this week to perform at a charity event for Mileysline on Thursday.
But his December appearance as part of Live In The City will be Callum’s largest headline concert in the Highlands to date.
It has been a busy few years for the Edinburgh-born singer/songwriter. Following on from his sold-out headline Scottish tour in 2021, Callum then toured the UK until last summer when he support ed Amy Macdonald, including her Inverness date.
Carlie Davidson from LCC Live, organisers of Live In The City, said: “Ever since Callum Beattie supported Amy Macdonald at our sold-out Northern Meeting Park show last summer, we’ve been keen to bring him back up north and his own headline show at the Inverness Leisure Centre in December will definitely be perfect for that!
“Callum brings such a good energy to his shows, and is clearly passionate about what he does, so it’s one we can’t wait for!”
Callum’s debut album People Like Us was released in 2021 and reached number one in The Official
Scottish Album Chart, number seven in The Official UK Album Sales Charts and was BBC Radio 2’s album of the week. His track Salamander Street is arguably one of Callum’s most well-known hits from that album.
His latest one, Vandals, was released back in March, with popular track Heart Stops Beating catapulting his voice onto the airwaves again.
For the December show, Callum will be joined by a special guest and they will announced in the coming months.
Tickets for Callum Beattie's December 10 date will go on sale at 9am on Friday, June 30, from ticketline.co.uk or from Caffery’s Menswear in the Eastgate Shopping Centre, Inverness.
Callum Beattie’s date on December 10 is part of the Live In The City festive weekend of music at Inverness Leisure Centre. Already announced is Skerryvore on Friday, December 8. The following night, on Saturday December 9, Björn Again will be saying thankyou for the music (playing all of ABBA’s greatest hits) , with Callum and his guests rounding off the weekend.
