The Highland Council and NHS Highland have joined up to distribute Lateral Flow Devices (LFD) tests across Inverness from March 21 - March 25.

The free packs are handed out by staff who can also give guidance on how to use the test.

People can also opt to have a test done at the site, which requires no appointment.

The tests will be available from:
B&M car park, Telford Retail Park

  • Monday 21 March 9:30am-4pm
  • Tuesday 22 March 9:30am-4pm

Tesco car park, Inshes Retail Park

  • Wednesday 23 March 9:30am-4pm
  • Thursday 24 March 9:30am-4pm
  • Friday 25 March 9:30am-3:30pm

When doing a test at home, the public are urged to report their result even if negative to the website.

The Highland Council and NHS Highland’s Community Testing Programme offers rapid COVID-19 tests for people without symptoms, through the use of mobile testing sites and outreach events. If you do have symptoms, you should self-isolate immediately and seek a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test. Symptoms include new continuous cough, fever, or loss of, or change in, sense of smell or taste.

PCR tests for people with COVID-19 symptoms can also be arranged by visiting the website or by calling 119.
