Macleod and MacCallum has appointed Tomas Simpson and Aidan Grant as associates from this month.

They joined the firm in 2016 and were enrolled as qualified solicitors in 2018 after completing a two-year traineeship.

Morag MacIntosh, chairwoman of the board at Macleod and MacCallum, said: “Tomas and Aidan have become valuable members of the firm during their time with us as both trainees and qualified solicitors, within our residential conveyancing team.

“It is particularly pleasing to see two new solicitors, both born and raised in the Highlands, continuing to work and serve the communities that they grew up in. The firm has a long and proud history of training young people, giving them solid career opportunities in law and other fields.

“Tomas and Aidan are in fact following in the footsteps of six of our current directors who began their legal careers as trainee solicitors with Macleod and MacCallum.”
