HIGHLAND PR agency System2 is to join leading agency Quatro, providing the London-based business with its first Scottish base.

Quatro specialises in strategic communications, political engagement and community consultation.

The team from System2, which is based in Fairways Business Park in Inverness, brings journalistic and digital expertise as well as an in-depth understanding of the Scottish political scene and processes.

Peter Kane, co-founder and director of System2, joins the board of Quatro as an executive director and will have key responsibilities for strategic growth in Scotland and supporting the agency’s wider UK operations.

Quatro managing director Gary Pleasants said: “We are delighted to have secured the team from System2 in having them join Quatro.

"In one fell swoop we have greatly enhanced our delivery in Scotland. We are adding journalistic, design, digital, film and political strategy skills to our already successful team. We believe there are great opportunities for Quatro in Scotland and the wider UK as a result.

“We have worked on projects with the System2 team for quite some time with great success, so we know that Quatro will now be able to provide even greater services for more clients.”

Mr Kane said: “The team here is thrilled to now be part of a UK-wide agency. Quatro has an enviable reputation for success and expert knowledge in the PR and public affairs fields. Being part of that story going forward is exciting and we will be working hard to build on the opportunities that we have.

“My wife Suzanne and I created System2 and are grateful for the help and support that we’ve received in developing it. We are proud that a leading agency such as Quatro has now invited our team to join them and we look forward to the exciting times ahead.”

Quatro now has offices in London, Cardiff, Manchester, Sheffield and Inverness and there are plans to open a second Scottish office in Glasgow.
