Knitters urged to get their needles ready for the return of the Loch Ness Knit Fest

The Loch Ness Knit Fest is to return for a fifth successive year with a change of venue.

This year it will take place at Inverness College UHI campus from October 23-25 and includes, talks, demonstrations, evening entertainment and a diverse marketplace.

Spokeswoman Cecilia Grigor, said: “We have some interesting ideas up our sleeves and we hope to see as many friendly faces as we have in previous years to celebrate this global craft.

"We can’t wait to launch the 2020 programme."
