When word got around that Santa planned hitting the beach at a Black Isle beauty spot there was no shortage of visitors.
And true to form, he had gifts in hand when he visited Rosemarkie Amenities Beach Cafe on Saturday evening.
The beach cafe has become a popular spot around the year for visitors whether that be for an ice cream in summer or a warming hot chocolate in winter for walkers and hardy swimmers.
It was a chilly evening when Santa dropped in but unsurprisingly there were plenty of children from the surrounding community keen to weather the cold and make an appearance!
Beach cafe manager Maru Fraser said the free event had gone very well despite the plummeting tempetrature. Seasonal hot chocolates, candy canes and gingerbread men went down a treat.
She said: "We had an amazing turnout. These are free events – even though this was the first year we sold hot drinks! – we put for the community as many children can only see Santa at Rosemarkie! It is actually very nice and the atmosphere was good."
