Stephen Leckie, President of Scottish Chambers of Commerce will address attendees at the 2022 Highland Business Awards.

Also chairman of the Scottish Tourism Alliance and chairman and chief executive of Crieff Hydro, he is the fifth generation of his family to run the Crieff Hydro hotel and estate since the doors opened on Scotland’s maiden hydropathic establishment in 1868.

The company is now the oldest trading registered company in Scotland.

Since taking the helm in 1994, Stephen has marshalled more than £60 million of investment to transform the property into a true leisure resort which competes on the international stage.

Stephen has received a number of awards including the VisitScotland Scottish Thistle Award for his outstanding contribution to industry, the Scottish Chambers of Commerce / Scottish Business Honours – Entrepreneur of the Year Award and in 2019 he was presented with the Scottish Licensed Trade News Award for Industry Achievement.

Organisers of the Highland Business Awards are billing this as a unique opportunity to hear from Stephen about the strength of the Scottish Chambers of Commerce network and the challenges and opportunities facing businesses in Scotland.

Award winners will be announced at the Highland Business Awards Lunch which is being held at the Drumossie Hotel, Inverness on Friday, September 30. Tickets are now on sale for the event, priced at £65 + VAT per person, and may be booked individually or for tables of 10. Price includes welcome drink and three course lunch with tea/coffee.
