Juliette Lemoine set to perform in Nairn in debut album launch tour

TRAILBLAZING cello artist Juliette Lemoine will be performing live at Nairn Community and Arts Centre this week.

Lemoine will lead an all-star band featuring 2022 Mercury Prize nominee pianist Fergus McCreadie, tenor saxophonist Matt Carmichael (BBC Young Jazz Musician 2020 finalist), and fiddler Charlie Stewart (BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2017) in an celebration of the theme of freedom.

The performance will be on Thursday, June 1 at 7.30pm, with tickets priced at £12 (adults) and £5 (under 18).

The artist, on her latest UK tour with her debut album Soaring, she has been redefining the cello’s role within Scottish Traditional Music.
