A party at the Inverness district’s Grebe Community Park saw locals come together to mark the Queen's 70 year reign.

Organised by Rhona Brindle and Amanda Dunn the party grew out of their wish to bring the community together as they thought about all that they had missed during the pandemic.

“There was so much excitement on all the kids’ faces and it was just wonderful to see.

The free event was funded by Drakies Community Council and Highland Council and included a disco, BBQ, games and entertainment.
