A party at the Inverness district’s Grebe Community Park saw locals come together to mark the Queen's 70 year reign.
Organised by Rhona Brindle and Amanda Dunn the party grew out of their wish to bring the community together as they thought about all that they had missed during the pandemic.
Ms Dunn said: “It was a super day, it really was.
“There was so much excitement on all the kids’ faces and it was just wonderful to see.
“It was so nice to see the park in use and have everyone come together again.”
The free event was funded by Drakies Community Council and Highland Council and included a disco, BBQ, games and entertainment.
Ms Dunn added: “A big thank you to all our volunteers who worked tirelessly for the event to run.”
