It may seem a little premature to mention the ‘C-word’ but at the Macdonald Drumossie Hotel, the planning is in full swing for the Christmas festivities.

The luxury hotel, overlooking Inverness, is looking forward to offering a full spectrum of events over the festive season, and they really have something for everyone.

The first party kicking off the Christmas calendar is the high-energy event, Jingo Bingo on December 1 and 2. Look forward to a crazy night of number calling, delicious dining, disco dancing, and non-stop partying. Book early as it promises to be another full ‘house!’

Kenny McMillan, general manager at the Drumossie Hotel said: “Jingo Bingo is going to be a party from the moment people walk in the door. There will be bubbly on arrival, an all-you-can-eat buffet, bingo, prizes, and games! We cannot wait to offer this event and look forward to partying the night away with everyone!”

For those who love music and dancing, the KBXPERIENCE with Kai Logan is the perfect night for you and your friends to let your hair down. Enjoy the Tunes of the 90s on December 8, party away as Children of the Noughties on December 15, or enjoy music from all the decades on December 22.

Kenny said: “Starting with a glass of bubbly on arrival followed by a delicious three-course festive meal, there’s no better way to create new memories with friends and colleagues than with our disco party nights.

“Following the success from last year, join us and dance the night away under our fabulous glitter ball into the wee small hours with KBE Events, Kai Logan.”

The Drumossie is also excited to bring the first event of its kind to Inverness with Saturday Night Live taking place on December 9 and 16.

There will be live acts from the moment you step into the hotel, surprise entertainment, and a three-course meal to power you through your dancing! What more could you want from a Christmas night out?

“The hotel will be lit up when you arrive, we have MacTa the band, confetti cannons and first-class food,” said Kenny.

“We are looking forward to bringing Saturday Night Live to Inverness for the first time, and hope that you, your friends and colleagues will be able to join us for a memorable night!”

If these events didn’t look good enough on their own, and you want to up the ante, then you can always add a ‘Posh Party to a Party’ onto your Christmas night!

Enjoy any Jingo Bingo, the KBXPERIENCE or Saturday Night Live, whilst also having a private dining experience with your own private butler!

Kenny said: “We want people to have the chance to enjoy our party nights, but also have the option to have a more private dining experience at the same time! Our Posh Party to a Party will give you the extra ‘wow’ factor.

“You will be welcomed by your host for the evening and shown to your private room to enjoy a glass of chilled prosecco and canapes. Indulge on our chef’s fine dining festive menu before heading to your reserved table in the ballroom and dance the night away.”

Partying at the Drumossie doesn’t come to an end after December 25, as it knows how important it is to celebrate Hogmanay in style!

The hotel is once again putting on The Big Shindig, where you can start your evening with a glass of bubbly and canape reception followed by a four-course gala dinner and artisan cheese board.

Cala will be there to provide the entertainment of ceilidh music and a selection of hits helping you fall into 2024 Hogmanay. As a six-piece trad band originating from Inverness. The past few years have been exciting for Cala, playing many festivals such as Dandelion Festival, Belladrum, The Gathering and many more.

If you don’t fancy having a four-course dinner, but still want to see in 2024 on a high, then you can join the Drumossie party with The First Footing offering.

Arrive from 9.30pm onwards on December 31, to a glass of bubbly or a dram, followed by an artisan cheese board and you too can enjoy the fantastic entertainment from Cala!

You can then soak up all the booze from the night before with a New Year’s Day Carvery, cooked up the expert team at the Drumossie.

Kenny said: “We had an amazing Hogmanay party seeing in 2023, and we are looking forward to going even bigger and better to see in 2024!

“The black-tie event was absolutely brilliant, and having the first footing element meant that the party just got bigger and bigger as the night went on!

“This is perfect for those that don’t want to head into town, but still want to enjoy a great celebration to bring in the new year!”
