If you are looking to host an event with a professional set-up and also give back to the local community at the same time, there is a way to do it!

King’s Inverness is proud to boast a modern events space with high-tech equipment for conferences, meetings, and weddings. And every single penny you spend on hiring out their space will be reinvested right back into the local community.

Co-pastor, Chris Dowling said: “We have a main hall that holds around 240 people, a professional PA system and experts who can operate the whole system. We also have cameras in our auditorium, where events can be recorded and even live-streamed.

“We invested in these changes during Covid when we were live-streaming church services, and now we want to share these facilities with others.

“When renting space out that money is going back into the community. We need an income stream to do a variety of long-term projects and a sustainable income from events future-proofs what we want to do.”

King’s Inverness has a large carpark for attendees, and a coffee shop within its building so it can cater for events that take place.

Alongside the main hall, there are also three smaller rooms within the building that can be used to host meetings and smaller events.

“We’ve had charities and community groups use our building and we are so happy that we have a space that can be used by so many,” said Chris.

One of the main benefits of using the facilities at King’s Church is that they have a team of professionals who will ensure that your event will take place without a hitch.

Chris said: “We have experts in the field who can operate all the systems and ensure that the event space is set up in the way that you need.”

The church space recently held The Inverness Courier Leadership Debate, which saw SNP leadership candidates take to the stage, with a large in-person audience, whilst also live-streaming the event out to the wider public.

Speaking about his experience at King’s Inverness, Steve Barron from Highland News and Media said: “When we were choosing a venue for our First Minister Leadership Debate two things were important to us. We wanted somewhere that was in the heart of one of the communities we cover and that would be able to help us deliver the event to a very high standard.

“King’s Inverness exceeded expectations on both counts. We were amazed by how engaged the local community was with the venue and the level of expertise and technology they provided. The team at King’s were a real pleasure to work with and we would not hesitate to recommend them.”

Chris concluded: “This is a professional setup, with an expert team, and money gets reinvested right back into the community.”
