Inverness woman appears in court facing assault charges

An Inverness woman has been remanded in custody after appearing in court facing a catalogue of charges including assault to danger of life.

Paige Ruddy (32) appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court facing five charges.

They included allegations of assaulting a person in their home to their injury and danger of life, a further assault to injury, another assault, assaulting a member of the emergency services and a final charge of a breach of bail.

Ruddy, of Inverness, made no plea and was committed for further examination.

She is to appear again in court within eight days.
