A number of Inverness hospitality venues have been named as finalists in the Scottish Bar and Pub Awards.

Inverness-based Cru Holdings has been named as a finalist in the hospitality employer of the year category and two of its venues have also been named as finalists for additional awards. Scotch and Rye, has been named in the Inverarity Morton Scotland’s Best Drinks Offering category whilst Prime Steak & Seafood is in contention to win the ARO Procurement Customer Service Award.

Following customers votes, mystery shoppers had their say but the ultimate decision will lie with a panel of judges. Winners will be announced on August 29 at The Doubletree Hotel in Glasgow.

Organiser Susan Young said: “This year, a record number of votes were received from the public across a multitude of categories. It was certainly not an easy task due to the quality of all the finalists.”
