A trio of men from Inverness have admitted being in the supply of drugs.

Gary Devlin (38), John Sutherland (39) and Kenneth Armstrong (38) all pled guilty to being concerned in the supply of illegal substances after appearing at Inverness Sheriff Court.

The court heard police got a search warrant for the premises at Kintail Crescent and made a number of discoveries on September 20, 2019.

Devlin, now of the city’s Cuthbert Road, admitted supplying cannabis between March 30, 2019 and September 20 that same year.

He was found to have 330 grams worth of the class B drug worth between £1800 and just over £5000.

He also admitted having an air weapon without the required licence.

Sutherland was only involved in a “sporadic” supply of cannabis to his friends, fiscal depute Martina Eastwood said.

If he had a surplus he would give it to friends and they would do the same back.

This offence took place between September 21, 2018 and September 20, 2019 at the same address.

No money was exchanged for these transactions with Sutherland, who resides at Lodge Avenue in the Highland capital.

Meanwhile MacIver, of Kintail Crescent, was found to be dealing etizolam – a class C drug which has sedative effects.

He was found to have more than 11,000 of the tablets on hand and had been supplying them between March 29, 2019, up until the raid on September 20, 2019.

Sheriff Ian Cruickshank deferred reports for the preparation of background reports until April 6.

All three men were released on bail.
