An Inverness business is set to help people in Turkey and Syria by donating profits made this weekend to earthquake relief efforts.

The vegan takeaway, based in the city's Victorian Market, is to channel the money towards those carrying out work in both countries to try and help those caught up in the aftermath of the tragedy.

The disaster has seen more than 22,000 people killed following the 7.8 magnitude quake which struck on Monday as well as a series of aftershocks.

Salt N Fire is owned y Lara Elsayed who is originally from Aleppo and she wants to help her fellow Syrians and neighbouring Turks through the extreme difficulties many now face.
