Motorists are being advised by the Highland Council that there will be a temporary road closure of Lochalsh Road, Inverness, this Sunday. (Sep 5)

The closure will be in operation at 8.30am and will remain in effect until 5.30pm on the same day.

The stretch of Lochalsh Road involved starts at its junction with Dunabban Road to its junction with Abban Street.

The closure is required in the interest of public safety to enable contractors, working on behalf of the Highland Council to carry out resurfacing works located within the public road boundary.

Access will be maintained at all times for emergency vehicles and pedestrian access.
