A woman has been told to stay out of Scotland unless she is attending court.

Donna Stewart (40) appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court from custody and admitted threatening and abusive behaviour.

The court heard that on November 8 she was seen acting aggressively in the Highland capital's Queensgate.

She admitted shouting, uttering threats of violence and also kicking a door of a nearby property.

Sheriff Gary Aitken deferred sentence for the preparation of reports until December 7.

Stewart, who has been supposed to be living at Chester, was bailed but with the special condition that she does not come back to Scotland except for court appearances.

Sheriff Aitken gave her 24 hours to leave the country.
