A NAIRN woman has admitted drug dealing in Inverness city centre after police found her with crack cocaine and heroin.

Inverness Sheriff Court heard Johan McKegney (41) had been seen loitering in School Lane and the Academy Street areas on February 25, 2018.

Fiscal depute Susan Love said: “At around 10.15am police officers were carrying out routine patrols on Church Street, Inverness.

“Constables exited their vehicle and approached the accused and it was then it was noticed she had numerous wraps in her hand.”

The court heard she had five wraps in her hand and more about her person.

Tests later found they contained crack cocaine and heroin.

A search warrant later executed at her home in John Street, Nairn, led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia.

McKegney admitted two charges of being concerned in the supply of drugs.

A not guilty plea to a number of drug possession charges was accepted.

Sentence was deferred to September 6.
