A man has to wait until next month for a sheriff to determine his fate following a violent incident in Inverness city centre.

Callum Craven (25) kicked off on Church Street on December 11 last year.when he assaulted two men by punching them on the head.

They were both said to be in the course of their employment at the time but no narrative to the offences was given in court.

On the day he also behaved in a threatening and abusive manner when he acted in an aggressive manner towards a female customer in Lauders Bar.

He also challenged two of the bar's employees to a fight, and did the same to two police constables before brandishing a glass bottle and shouting and swearing.

Craven now of Hillhouse Crescent, Hamilton, also admitted shouting at his partner at MacLennan Crescent, Inverness, on December 16 last year.

As the final charge was aggravated by being of a domestic nature, Sheriff Gary Aitken called for background reports.

Craven was released on bail and will return to court on December 22,
